The Dandelion International Festival - l

Dandelion International Film Festival

The Dandelion International Film Festival (DIFF), founded in Los Angeles, USA, aims to showcase outstanding films from around the world that reflect diverse cultural backgrounds and artistic expressions to the international mainstream film community. It emphasizes the various cultural contexts, artistic perspectives, and different artistic domains present in film, while also advocating for the free development of art and the fusion of artistic cultures from different countries and ethnicities.

Dandelions grow in grasslands, roadsides, fields, and riverbanks at mid- to low-elevation areas. With their vibrant yellow flowers, they symbolize "love that cannot stay." After blooming, they disperse with the wind to new places, nurturing new life.

Dandelions resemble the myriad forms of art present in films; as a medium, film encompasses various artistic disciplines, including costume design, lighting, cinematography, sound art, and music. At the same time, artists from different fields within the film industry are filled with boundless passion for their craft, dedicating their energy to express their "love that cannot stay" for art. With the popularity of film, the art of different cultures and various artistic genres intertwine like blooming dandelions, taking root and sprouting as films are screened in diverse locations.
